Inspiration

Some mid-day inspiration, from the film "Camp". This never fails to make me tear up . . . A little back-story: the two people the camera cuts to are her parents; they sent her to this musical theatre camp with her jaw wired shut so she would lose weight over the course of the summer. She has her jaw cut open for the final showcase, and her powerful, self-affirming performance gets to me every single time. The whole film, in fact, is about learning to love and accept yourself for who you are, and not letting anyone get in the way of your dreams. Rent it immediately, especially if you are now or have ever been an actor;) Enjoy.
