We have severe weather heading into Chicago this morning, and I wanted to share an image of what the sky looks like right now: dark, heavy, and pregnant with anticipation.
I love storms, but I tend to love them when I'm sitting at home, wrapped up in my robe watching movies, drinking tea, and listening to it rage outside. Being on the 17th floor before it lets loose is a little disquieting . . .
I think we got this same storm around noon, must've been a fast mover (I am about 3 hours East of you). Hopefully everyone made it through unscathed :)
I'm an actress, classically trained singer and historical costumer, but I love writing, sketching and painting, cooking, doll-making, and about a hundred other things I try to squeeze into every minute of free time. I live in Southern California with my rabbit, Viola—but, in my heart, I truly reside in Victorian England.
