Looks like nautical fashions are going to be big this spring and summer, and though it's not a trend I usually follow, I'm finding a lot of cute examples this year:

I'm likely the last person to ask about fashion dos and don'ts - but in my mind I think this could be a good trend as long as not overdone. One item would be cute - a whole nautical outfit would resemble a halloween costume or a toddlers outfit!!!
I LOVE nautical style, and am so glad to see it coming into fashion. I agree with Jamie - keep it simple and "suggestive of" sailor-style. For example, wear an anchor necklace or blue and white striped shoes with a regular outfit.
Nothing says spring to me like a nautical theme. A piece here or there is just fun & makes me want to book a cruise now.
