Favorite Site Tuesdays: AJ Machete and Sons

I know I don't feature a lot of men's wear on the blog, and the simple reason is that most men's clothing doesn't really inspire me. It's usually pretty boring and very safe. That's why I'm so excited by this week's feature: AJ Machete and Sons. Based out of Denver, AJ Machete and Sons is the creation of AJ Machete and Lianna K, and let me tell you: they know their stuff. Not only is it difficult to find tailoring done this well nowadays, but its damn near impossible to find it done with this much fun. Every detail, from the cuffs and collars, the buttons, to the linings is done with exquisite care and a sense of whimsy. I wouldn't mind having one of their suits myself;)

Can't you just see a Steampunked, Victorian-era Batman fighting a Riddler dressed in this?

I love this jacket. You can choose the lining from several different exuberant patterns. I know several guys who would find this pretty cool.

They do have one or two unisex or ladies items too, like this jacket. Click the link and look at all the pictures to see the immense amount of detail that went into this coat.

They just don't make them like this anymore; custom-tailored suits are becoming a thing of the past. That's why I love AJ Machete and Sons, and I'm sure you will too.

Love all of the jackets! The lining in the second last jacket is awesome!
