My Sanctum Sanctorum. . .

Since everyone has been asking for it, here is a little tour of my new place. It's like the Batcave . . . only without any of the cool stuff, or Christian Bale. Seriously, though, it would be longer, but I would need a bigger place for that;)

OH WOOOOOOOOW!!! It's sooo much cuter than I thought! Dearest, what a wonderful little place to call home! You've made such perfect use of your space, made it your own, and have truly settled in nicely! Mr. France & I are super excited for you!

Love Always,
Mama France.

How adorable! I love the Tottingham Hall Bunny Sanctuary reference - long live Wallace and Gromit! Your new place certainly has a lot of potential. You probably won't be able to host any huge parties in it, but it will be a perfect sanctuary when you get it all organized.

You definitely need a chair. I can't imagine standing to sew at such a low table; you're going to get an awful crick in your back. Is there an IKEA close by? Even a $10 folding chair that you can hang on the wall would be better than standing.

BTW, I had a bathroom in my studio apartment in Waukegan with the same color tiles as yours, so I did a pueblo mesa/kokopelli theme and used bright teal, cinnamon/rust, and chocolate; it worked out pretty well. (PS: Don't buy any paint until spring - that's when all the paint goes on SALE!)
