Today's favorite is a fairly new discovery for me: Jennifer Behr. This Brooklyn artist makes stunning hair ornaments out of crystal, silk, feathers, and sometimes even pythons and leathers. She has a real flair for doing delicate in a dramatic way; her pieces always look feminine and pretty, but never wimpy!

Seriously, can you get any prettier than this? I want to find a costume that would go with this . . . how about a modern take on the goddess Diana?

I can't think of too many brides who wouldn't feel at home in this; coupled with some lovely earrings and a sheath dress in white silk satin, it's a look any 21st century flapper would love;)

She also has her seasonal collection, which has dramatic headpieces for the everyday. I could wear that to the grocery store, n'est ce pas?

That's to say nothing of her belts! If I had a few spare dollars, I'd get four or five of her pieces; I'll just have to come up with a good excuse . . . ;)
