The signs of spring are everywhere; the mercury is creeping up slowly, trees are budding, birds are nesting and little baby animals are appearing. While my sister has always dreamed of a winter wedding and is marrying in December, I have always favored the fresh promise of Spring, with the days growing longer and the chance to step out your door in just a sweater and take in a deep breath of flowers. Mine would be a Spring wedding, in May, the colors bright and cheerful. I'd love to have a big white tent and serve lemonade and sangria out of big apothecary decanters, with birds and butterflies perching on tables and the guests carrying paper parasols and sandlewood fans. As afternoon turned into night, mason jar lanterns would twinkle from the trees, vying with the fireflies.
What about you, dear readers? What season would/did you marry in, and why?

we got married in june...just before it got too hot...at the sea and we peppered it with sand dollar accents. i wish had another occasion to wear that dress..it was so beautiful!
This is one beautiful mood board!
We got married in august, on a hot summer's day. A good excuse to eat icecream instead of cake, run barefoot through the grass and wear the prettiest dress without getting cold (spring just isn't warm enough for me).
I too married in June, because I wanted to be a traditional June bride!
