Like my Life, only without the good part . . .

This is one of my new favorites. I love Paramore, and this song chokes me up, because I feel like it's my story. I suppose that is the beauty of a good song; you feel like it was written just for you, as though the singer transcribed your heart for the world to hear.

I thought of an old quote today I think from Senaca:

"The price the gods extract for a song is that we become the song we sing."

It is a long time now since I have written my own songs to whistle in the dark.
