Chilly/Cozy . . .

Today, I am craving a wood-burning fireplace, a good book, and a pair of fuzzy slippers. A cup of tea or hot chocolate wouldn't hurt either;)

How do you get cozy on chilly autumn days, dear readers?

Changes Ahead . . .

Autumn is about transition. I love this image, because it seems to encapsulate everything this season means, from the changing trees to the hazy light to the road stretching out into the distance. I can't quite see where the road leads yet, but I'm on the path.

Here's hoping you are enjoying a beautiful autumn day with your hands wrapped around a warm mug of hot chocolate.

Autumn. . .

Autumn has arrived, and with it the sudden desire for fireplaces, cozy woolen socks, and lazy afternoons curled up reading with my hands wrapped around a warm cup of tea. The sky turns golden with dusk much earlier now, and the trees are changing to oranges and yellows and reds. i do not like the cold or the promise of winter, but days like this are pretty nice.

Equinox . . .

The Autumnal Equinox has me thinking about pumpkin soup, crisp falling leaves, and hot chocolate. It also has me thinking about autumn weddings.

I won't lie; autumn is not my favorite season. I'm a Spring girl: I'm all about blooming cherry blossoms and that first warm day when the air smells like grass and flowers. But, there's something to be said for the brisk fall day that is clear and new and bright, full of oranges and reds and golds. If I were to get married in autumn, it would be jewel tones everywhere, and maybe even a chocolate gananche-frosted cake;)

What about you, dear readers? Any Autumn Brides out there? How did you celebrate the season in your wedding?
