1940's Hair Tutorial

This video is very poorly framed, I know. I couldn't get a good angle for the camera! I promise I'll shoot this again and do a little better, so you can actually see what I'm doing (which is, after all, the point of a tutorial!). For now, learn what you can from this, and I promise to do better next time!

Halloween Plans . . . .

So, my friend K who throws an annual Halloween party just released this year's theme, and it has me super-excited: 1940's. After a few brief moments where I wondered what I would wear, I realized this was the PERFECT excuse to finally make the Rocketeer dress I have been wanting to make since I was 11 years old! Yes!!! I love excuses to make things!

So, expect a few dress diaries coming up. I already have fabric and a pattern for it, and I'm fairly sure I have a zipper and various notions around my work room too; really, it's the perfect solution for a Halloween where I can't afford to spend any money for a costume. Yay!

Can't wait to get started . . . .
