I don't need to tell you, I'm excited to take this one on. After getting a look at some hi-res images from the San Diego Comic-Con (thanks Maggie!), I have a much better idea of what she's constructed out of. You'll have to click on each to go to the Flickr image and enlarge it to read my analysis. I'm clapping my hands together with glee; after all, I've already got some of this stuff left over from Giselle!

Hi. Visiting from SITS. Love your blog.
How long do you think it would take to make it? I might consider getting one like it for the ball.
The White Queen is going to be a 50-80 hour project, with a lot of handwork all over it. Without the beading and details it would take less time, but the way I make costumes, it will take at least that long!i always strive for as much detail and accuracy as possible;)
So I was looking up The White Queen and The Red Queen and I found your blog. My friend and I our uber fans of Alice in Wonderland and we want to be these characters for Halloween this year, and we want to have the best costumes of course. Your analysis is really helpful, but I was wondering if you had any other advice for someone who's new to making costumes, especially ones that have this much detail.
Thanks for your time! C=
How much do you charge? I am looking to have my costume finished by September 1st.
